It's sad that these items did not go to Ron Fleming... So be it. The last time a DKP 1 badge like that came on the market, it sold for well over $1200!

I hope the money goes to the family and not someone making a quick buck out of a gift.

I have no idea how the dude came to receive the goods, but I see it as no different than the crazy high prices stuff of that period commands here and elsewhere.  It's capitalism at its best.  Mo' money, mo'money, mo'money! lol

I was watching that auction, but now it looks as though the auction has been pulled. Wonder what's up?

Greg ended the auction. Doug Gordon's keepsakes are going to the right home!

I am new to the lounge. I joined because Doug was a good friend of mine. We worked together for the last 20+ years. We called him the "Old Gray Bear". I worked with him on many of his art shows in different cities. He knew my family and attended some family functions. Since Doug has moved on, I know his family would love to add items from his life to their collection of pictures and such. I have pictures of Doug and other items that I plan to send them. I might be interested in other items from his life, if anything becomes available, so I can send it to them as well. Thanks.
