Hi!
I wander how did you mount the support stand for the magneto, when using a original petrol pump. If anybody had pictures that would be great.
Kind regards

Patick,
I have been running one for years. My old oval daily driver had one and we made a billet stock like clamp.
similar to some of those stock design alum clamps but we raised the height to grab more of the lower part of the housing.
it worked fine for years.  those other mounts that support the housing are great if your not running a stock pump.
if you have a friend that's a machincist it is pretty simple.

I have been wondering about this also for my SPG motor......

Those original type mounts are "Adjustable" so I was thinking about putting a thread insert into the fan housing and bolting it to that with the original mount.....

I have noticed that a lot of Older cars did not have any extra mounts/surports that I could see..... Do we really NEED one  Undecided Smiley

In my experience, yes, you need it. My magneto wore out the case after some time. And it makes the most sense to support it from the right, in my eyes.
