It is Porsche Golden Green. I have seen some pictures of cal lookers with the same colour and they do look cool.

Iceland green L213. Not too common. My 55 is originally iceland green. And will be once again when I finish it.

Ever since I was a kid I always liked House of Kolor's Candy Apple Red on a metallic gold base to give it a darker hue to it.

why discriminate on color or origin?  Grin

golden green is a marvelous color. good luck with the project, i am sure yours will eventually look like the one in the first picture. beautiful car.

iceland green is a good one as well, it has been a long runner in the list of my colors to paint my 66 eventually, but i just can't make up my mind between 5 different colors.

Any good brown lookers out there? I've decided on some sort of brown for my '67 when I eventually paint her, but I'm still looking for the right Brown and I could use a little inspiration.

A few years ago, I picked up this Savanna Beige L620 Beetle from the original owner.  At first I wasn't keen on the colour, but it has some different hues...darker almost brown on cloudy days, but a very light beige on sunny days as shown in this photo:

Its an Australian 67, as they were actually made in Australia ,they used the same body shape from 1960 till 1967, they didnt change like the rest of the world.

We STILL haven't changed!!!  Cheesy  If you're onto a good thing, stick with it I rekn (the early 60's Beetle I meant).

I was sent a sample of "VW Off White" interior vinyl from an Oz TMI dealer/distributor, and I colour-matched it as close as possible. Each to their own, but I've always hated the different colours around the door frame from the interior, this will fix it.  Cool
Then I started thinking that it might look OK under our bright (that's Aussie for "damn harsh".....) sun with a bit of silver and shiny bumpers.

So I opened the March HotVWs to the feature Baja, and there it is. Looks good when it's cloudy at least!

My favourite colour though is the one single colour that ALL of my cars have been over the years, at least for a little while anyway, sometimes 3 days, sometimes 3 months, once even a year!  Cheesy It means the car is finally done and driving, and ready to roll.

Spray Putty Primer yellow.
