Hi guys,

What's the deal with these cranks. Understand the logic but are there any other pros and cons I need to know

I used a couple of them. One was a 78 from Bergman and the other was an 82 from Demello.  Thought I would buy into the theory but didn't think either cranks made a difference.  But they are sure heavy. I believe the theory was more weight within the crank and less on the flywheel. Returned to using the counterweighted cranks.  Dave Rhoads

The so-called "full circle" crank that DMS makes is not made to add weight to the piston side. It makes the two cheeks between opposite throws wider to make the crank stiffer.  Just like what VW did to when they made the waterboxer crank.

So is it a good choice for a 13:1 2276cc comp eliminator motor with ti valve?
