IDA Pressure regulator
«

My project car is taking shape and I`m thinking about all the possibilities about the fuel system. I know that the regulator is best situated near the carbs as possible but is it mandatory and will it affect it that much if I mount it at the front of the car. I know there will be a slight pressure loss but if I just account for that and turn it up to say 3.25 psi , am I going to run into problems? This is more of a cosmetic thing as I`m trying to keep the engine bay as fuss free as possible as its a show car.
Any help would be great cheers.

Run the CB Performance rotary pump. No need for a regulator then.
I run it on my oval and really like it. Quiet and effective

Put the regulator somewhere above the gearbox could be an option

I have seen lots of cars with bypass style mounted up front[well at back as all front engine cars] next to fuel tank and pump but not seen a dead head style done like it, I cant seen any reason why it wont work
What is you plan to get fuel to carbs from it? single line then T to carbs? or two lines all way from regulator?
cheers Richie

Cheers, I was thinking of plugging one side of the reg or running short lines to a tee and then to the solid single 3/8" line inside the tunnel , so I was going to tee it further up towards the engine bay somewhere as neat as possible.
