Bought a pair of porsche durant mirrors for my -68 bug. Has anyone installed one on bug? The only place where it's possible to see anything from the mirror is in the front upper corner of the door, below the vent window. Theres no way to fasten the nuts to the mounting bolts there. Any advice, pics anything is highly appreciated. Thanks!

I put one on this car:

The earlier version is smaller and fits the car better, IMO. Don't expect it to be too functional and you won't be disappointed Wink

Drilled some holes in the door. I think it has a couple studs? Nuts on the inside.

Drill two holes and put in two riv-nuts , you don't have to reach through to the inside, they will be captive, just like putting your wings on.

I'm addicted to them now!  Cheesy
