My engine temporarily seized because no 2 locked on the journal, it spun over by hand a few hours later.
This is the bearing.
Also when the motor seized it was the coldest it had been all day, it was turned off for 30 mins while oil lines were removed to try stop the leak. It had been running fairly hard before then for an hour so I'd imagine the tight rod bearings would have caused issues earlier. Things only went bad once the oil filter spat shit back into the motor.
