Scat kit $572
https://www.scatvw.com/product/94mm-stroker-race-cylinder-and-lightweight-wiseco-piston-kit/

CB Kit $757
http://www.cbperformance.com/product-p/racereadymahle.htm

Aircooled.net $630
http://vwparts.aircooled.net/JE-Forged-94mm-B-P-C-Set-VW9400T1SJE-p/vw9400t1s-je.htm

Or Mahle $400ish

Or Huh

Thinking there's a middle between light and high rpm and heavy and long lasting?

And I'd like to run some No2 - 75, 150 shot? What can these handle reasonably? Dry or wet?

Building a:
2165
L7 Heads 77cc runners w/ L5 valves 40x35
86c w/ 1.4s - thinking 106 LC?
10:1
Dual 44s
1 3/4 exhaust
7500 or 8000 max rpm
Vw650 springs, Ti retainers, straight cut timing gears
As41 mag with bushed lifter bores, full flow
Bugpack crank, pauter rods

Shooting for 180hp+ at the crank.

Use:
70 Baja Bug, mostly a fun after work/ weekend warrior.
Once in a while, play around in the Oregon sand dunes.
002 bus box, 30"x 13" sand paddles for sand drag racing and 32" for the street.

The kit from CB already comes stress honed. The others don't?

My Wiseco pistons still lives after 7 years of mild to semi-wild boost.
