Does anyone in the UK sell a weld in type 1 mid mount ?
Or have one they would like to sell ?

Is it the one that welds straight to the frame horns? I think I have one

Hi Richie,
I found it. It's not the prettiest at the ends where it was welded to the frame horns then cut off.
May be handy as a template or add a bit of material back to the ends?
Happy if postage is covered if Rob can make use of it

thanks, i got one i cut out a car before as well, he was just looking for a simple solution

When I first met him he was the partner of my wife's housemate in Wolverhampton, but I know he was involved with the SAS Rennwagens who are Staffordshire and up to Stoke, so not much further. Unless he's moved again - I lost track of him when I deleted my Facebook account! He did become a good fabricator though!
