My ignition switch let out its magic smoke last week.

I have got the barrel out and I'm looking for the best donor I can find to perform a barrel swap so I can keep the same key.

There's no repop K code 12v switches for 67's, that I can find out there Sad

Does anyone know if the repop 6v switches with the SC code keys are the same body as a 67?

Thanks.

No one repros the 67 ignition switch. They all tell you to use the 61-66 switch.
If you find a good used 61-66 switch that is from the same OEM manufacturer as your original 67 switch, then your lock cylinder will transfer over.
The repro switches from about 20+ years ago were made by VW's OEM supplier, but with their own key blank that looks nothing like any key VW used. If you found one of those repros, your 67 lock cylinder will transfer over.
The currently available repro switches are anyone's guess whether your lock cylinder will fit.
