This spot is only about five minutes away from my house, but if you can ignore the big apartment complex down the hill, feels like it's miles and miles away. I figured I'd get a few shots in while it's still standing, very few of these old farms manage to survive the developers' shovels around here.

I'll put together a longer post when I have more time, but I spent the last two days taking my '67 for a little 450 mile jaunt around Colorado. I didn't stop to take as many pictures as I'd planned, but I did get one at the summit of Berthoud Pass, a lofty 11,306' in elevation.

All in all, the car ran great and I'm over the moon with it!

So as in the above post from a few days ago, to celebrate 10 years since I got my car running and driving, I took it on a nice little trip around some mountain roads, to some breweries and an extremely pleasant little campsite.

This is near the beginning of what is easily the best driving road I've ever found, just twenty miles of pure traffic-free, smoothly paved bliss. Next time I hope to have some IDAs to really wake up the cows.

A nice sunset was starting as I drove up towards my campsite.

That night, after some liquid brain enhancement, I took a ton of long-exposure photos, these two were among the best to turn out.

All in all, it was a fantastic little trip to end my summer and I couldn't be more proud of my car for not missing a single beat through the whole drive.

Cool trip Andrew, love the scenery!  Wish I could do the same but places like that are hard to find overhere.

Yeah, it's a bit easier since I don't have any international borders to cross to get anywhere like this. I'm sure if you're ambitious enough though you could get somewhere just as pretty!

It was so cold that night, the wool cowboy hat was the warmest thing I had for my head!

Finally got a ton of film developed from last year and I'm really happy with some of the shots I got of my '67 in various environments and weather patterns.

Near my mom's on Christmas Eve Day

Same night as above on the borrowed Centerlines/Racemasters

Off the side of CO State Highway 131, somewhere between Phippsburg and Yampa, Colorado.

A foggy gas station, stopping to scrape the windshield off driving home from my work's Christmas party.

Great looking photos, nothing quite looks as good as film. The last photo though makes me nostalgic for cheaper gas prices, the West Coast is so expensive now.
