Would love if richie could jump in on this thread. I don't need to know his first through fourth gear ratio but i just want to know if he used a 4.57 ring and pinion in his 091 box.

4,57:1 r/p is the strongest and longest at 091 box.

What about it?

Ok so do you have one of these units in your car, how does it drive and what is your mileage like?

There are gear ratio calculators that will tell you theoretical top speed however they wont tell you what top speed will be with a 2.2L oxyboxer engine or let you factor in a drag co-efficient for your bus/baja/street lump...

I've been following your enquiry on this site and the Samba. Your persistence flogging this course of questioning without supplying specifics of your build makes me wonder whether someone has cracked your log in and is trolling this and Samba for their amusement...

I have one 091 under construction. It will be 50/50 strip-street, so gear ratios will be a compromise and mileage doesn’t play any role.
All Weddle gears inside, etc. Turbo engine about 4-500hp.

No one is trolling and no one has cracked my login. I just want to get some personal info from persons in the USA and Europe who have gone this route.

Well about my oxy 2.2ltr engine. Heads are the new los panchitos with 9.5:1 compression ratio with webcam 86b, Doghouse fan shroud with thermostat and late model wide fan and fan ring, Pauter 1.4:1 ratio rocker arms, chromoly pushrod tube set to loose zero,80mm waterboxer crank 94mm revmaster sleeves with JE pistons, 48mm trijet dells, dubshop crank fired ignition with IGN 1A race coils engine will have fuel injection in the future with ducati throttle bodies.

I have yet to purchase an exhaust system because i want all my tins to fit perfectly.

I don’t remember the ratios.

It all depends on your car power and weight, purpose of use, rear tyre size, etc.
Good type 1 gear box can handle your hp.
