As I'm in London for a few weeks, I knew I had to meet up with Lee. And after having had some pints and great VW talks on Thursday he offered to pick me up on Saturday (yesterday) and head off to a Hot Rod show in his Manx. An offer I couldn't resist  Wink

Lee, it was amazing to see you blast round the corner in the midst of London traffic in the morning and it was even better sitting in the passenger seat  Grin
Oh and Jim! We managed to scare quite a few people as well  Cheesy

 Must be great to fly full-throttle through central London in a dune buggy... Cool   (had the same experience in a quite 'potent' Golf Mk I with a niece of my dad who lives there...  Shocked ) 

 I'm btw not a huge fan of most buggies... but Lee I so loooooooooove YOUR buggy... It's really great!!!  Cool

Yep Charginging round London at 5000rpm in a Manx is probably the best fun you can have with your clothes on anyway Wink

And thanks for your comments on the Buggy - its funny cos alot of people tell me that they "normally" hate buggies but they Love mine - I guess I did something right  Wink Smiley

As for DDD I would really love to come but I will have to check my funds as I am buying that 66 in a few weeks and that is going to wipe me out  Smiley

You did everything right pal! And yes peeps, he gets so much attention on the road he's gotten immune to it.
