Last I heard, John Bates had a long list of things to finish on not only his motor, but the car too.

I've got Dan Gurney's on mine, not the Marathons Tongue Kenny Butler did my paint in 2 stage Krylon and timed my 1650cc at 40 degrees  Roll Eyes

for me the engine... out with the 1500 with Holley Bugspray and in with 1750cc fed by 40PII Solex's... time... money... money=time..  etc...

If I was to redo it I would change the trim. Wish I'd of dechromed it. and fill the exhaust cutouts.

First of all the tacho. Take the monster (instead of the speedo) apart, the speedo back in place and a smaller old autometer or Sun on or under the dash.
Someone has something for me?
