Hi guys i'm looking for a cabrio for my girlfriend and this one continues to crop up. The car is based in Cypress 90630. just wandering if any of you guys know of the car or have seen it?



alternatively, does anybody know of any pre '66 Cabrios for sale

It looks  familiar, its probably been to the cruise nite. Cypress is pretty close to my house, If you set it up with the guy I might be able to take a look @ it.   Bill

I grew up in Cypress and occasionally when I visit my mom I see the car parked up the street.They are fairly new neighbors and the time I visit no one's home. I have actually seen the car up close briefly and it looks pretty clean. I think he belongs to the club "foreign creations"? That picture was taken in the parking lot of Cypress Cinema ( no longer there). If I ever see him I will let him know you are interested or if I can help for contact I will do it. Brings back memories when Cypress had some of the fastest street VW's in the county unknown to any car magazines.

I have some relatives that live in Cypress, I can email the pic to them, and if need be I can visit them and go see the car.

I saw a nice pre-67 convert in Simi Valley yesterday, Coral Red with some type of BRM's, they were at least round.
