how about some stories about those girls that couldn't help but frustrate the daylights out of us, and in the end our right foots took it out on our poor cars.

I broke a CV joint in my Vanagon after getting "snubbed" by a girlfriend at a laser-tag meet. Didn't think a wasserboxer could lay rubber that hard.

Bent hockey-stick in my Baja after an incident with my high school g/f.

Broke nosecone in two after a discussion with same girl.

One night I was behind my work (pizza parlor), pissed @ some girl, lit up the tires and sent the rpms into orbit. Didn't have a decklid that night, belt flew off and landed on roof of pizza parlor.  Roll Eyes Angry Angry

None of these are VW related since I didn't own one at the time.

Once sideswiped an oak tree with an Aerostar van after breaking up with a chick. Caved in the side from the passengers side door to the tail lights. Bad thing was, it was my friend's parents car and I didn't have a license at the time.  Embarrassed Friend was trying to cheer me up so he let me drive it and we decided to see how fast it would go on a dirt road. Lost control at about 90 in the sand, hit the brakes and slid sideways into the tree.

Same girl, different break up, I put a nice outline of my fist in the roof of a dodge omni. I have a knuckle that still doesn't work right from that little incidence.

More interesting thread would be doing stupid things in cars to impress girls.  Wink

Only incident that comes to mine.

Was pissed at the girl I was dating.. pulled out my garage and stood on the '67 to spin it around the cul-de-sac and park just below the driveway.

waaaaaaaaaaa... BAMMMMMMM.

Exploded a Fram HP-1 and dumped 5qts of cold 40wt.

I wonder if that fan belt is still up there, 19 yr later?

Yes I had a Baja bug for a short period of time, before I sold it to the fan-belt girl.

She then sold it to Sheep

It was a burnt orange 1967 Convertible   Shocked

no I didn't make it a Baja.
