Just wondering whether to take the chrome trim off my black Oval,

anyone got any pics to help me decide? Or dechromed black cars?

not entirely cal-look. but this is the 55 oval of the guy that did the bodywork of my 67 last season.
he told me it's a 1200A or something and came without moldings.

i think it looks pretty cool.
and believe you me, i decided not to dechrome my 67 and geesh i can't even tell you how much i regret my decision now!
so, do it! do it!

Frenchy's Oval. Love the color and the stance. Not sure where it is now. More pics at the second link.

A the risk of taking this off topic... what color is this car?

On my work system, it looks almost the color of Schwimmer's car... maybe a little more red but on my laptop at home, it's much more red.

Those and the green standard ragtop on Raders at the top of this thread are perfect. That's the look I want for my '51.
