Dose Anyone know??  I Am building an 84X94 motor with a K8 Cam I WAnt to use the 1.5 Pauter Rockers But I also want to use my OG Empi GT Valve covers Dose anyone know if the Rockers will clear the Valve covers the cam has 537 lift??  any info would help thanks Shubee

I woul say it woul be a tough fit, with some porting / grinding inside it could probably work.
Empi covers are a crude casting and thick, I had to grind and blueprint my Super Flo covers to make it work, and they are a lot bigger inside- and more square even the axle -sideways interfeared ! !
Also the Empis as with all rubbersealed covers are known to leak.

I use the stock valve covers with my 1.5 Pauters. I had to massage them with a hammer and a dolley though.

Catch my drift !  Wink

As I wrote, the Super Flos are bigger and more square and a thinner casting than the Empis, and I still had to grind and port them !
