Dave, outstanding article on trends vs. style.
I really enjoyed the part about the narrowed beam cars.... those that have resorted to the 3-wheeler look...and how you mentioned what the narrow beam was originally designed for and curiously, these narrowed beams (sans shocks) now have the EXACT SAME problem, only inside the fenders.
Hermaphodite bit was great too....

I am shocked that I havent got any hate mail on that one yet.
BTW, those Bug-In pics were supplied by Scott Blaydes but for some reason he didnt get photo credit. Thanks Scott, I will have them make a correction in next months column.

nice thing about that article..... it clarified the blurred lines that often exist when one sees a "Cal Look Car"... is it one or not? Not that I think there are rules that a Cal Look car has to live up to, but there are some definite approaches to make a "Cal Look Car" that don't work. Dave you put them in clear, concise terms.

yes, if I can make it out, I will come on down from Simi in my '67, love to hang out with you guys and pore over the stuff I keep hearing about down there....Muiras, GTO's, Carrera 4-cams... etc.
