What cam?

He guys, i m new here because i couldn't found the answers i need in my dutch vdub forums

I'm building the follow 1855cc engine:

CB 78 crank cw 4340
87 forged piston cilinder kit
CB stock new reworked rods
stock heads 35.5x32
dual weber IDF 36 carbs
CR set somewhere 9-9.5

This all because i want a stroker engine, instead of a hi rev 1776 or 1835.
There is only one question left, which cam? I was thinking of a w120, but what would you suggest?

Since the heads and the carbs are so small, I would use a Engle 100. You will have a TON of torque! I would highly reccommend getting the heads ported and adding HD single springs! With ported heads you could step up to the Engle FK65 with 1.4 rockers, but use dual springs! Set the compression to 8:1. Should be good to about 5500-6000 rpm with ported heads.

Just what I was gonna sugest - thats what I use in my baby 1641 and I have loads of torque

Nice combo! If i was to build a new engine i would choose that combo. I would like to suggest a Schneider Cam pn: 1110 with Int. and exh. Duration (Gross) 278 deg. and a lift: .462” on both int. and exh.
