Obviously it has a seriously gusseted case, inside full FTC 3.78, 2.35, 1.65, 1.31. 3.88 ring and pinion, all new sleeves and syncros, chromoly retainer, threaded super diff with pore mans possi, sway a way axles. And a whole lot of love! Jim sure knows his shit, and gearing this thing to my motor. See ya.

Jim's 4-gusset cases sure look impressive. I had a couple bad experiences with his trannys a few years ago but that's another story for another time.

car seats... ugh.... just spent 3.5 hours last night in a baby car seat class.... pretty scary what can happen if something goes wrong. No way I'd strap a baby into a frickin VW!

Why were you sitting in a baby car seat for three and a half hours? Wouldn't the couch be more comfortable?

Why? This looks like the ultimate in child safety.

no doubt, i grew up playing in the package area behind the backseat of a 60 bug, no seat belts in the car. both my kids grew up riding around in various vw's ive owned. perfectly safe if your head is not up your ass.

Awesome! I remember playing behind the back seat of my Dad's '67 sunroof bug while he was driving.

I had the same living room space growing up. As a child my parents didn't have seat belts in their cars and I can remember one trip we took from Canada to Cali ; my domain being the rear package area. Now, as a parent of two beautiful boys all my cars I own have seat belts and we don't move an inch until their buckled.

he wants to mark his territory. it is a common thing with chickens as well. they need to know there picking-order. Jim is doing a good job in raising his boy and in letting him know who is boss. good one Jim. i slept three weeks in my sons bed and took all the presents he got, less the ones i didn't like.

yep i can relate, even if it is a pain in the @$$ to wait. everybody in their seatbelts.
and as far as safety is concerned, i believe in the protective properties of all those chairs, but if you get hit, it is all a matter of pure luck...

Wow, you must have a high threshold for pain. I can only sit on top of my kids car seats, and they pinch my fat ass. 3.5 hours like that and I'll tell you anything you want to know.

The main reason I put a cage in my car was for the kids safety not mine.

Me in cage = kids safety (after taking them on the first "Santa's Little Helper Cruise" approx 2 hours) "Are we there yet?, When are we gonna be there?" SHEEESH
