So I guess there are a lotof diffrent ways to entering....enter a show, a burger place, a parking lot.....well I all boils down to "The art of entering"

I once meet up with the late Mark Herbert and we got to the "DKP overdoze meet" at Scott Baaken and everybody was chit chating and I meet this guy named Steve Beecher....So I say " Hi I am from Sweden and new and find the Highways in So Cal to be close to a war zone but I am proud to tell that Mark just showed me how to drive on the Freeway"....Steve stops (eating breathing etc) and becomes quite "WHAT!!!! Mark showed you how to drive on the Highway!!!!??"..........."welllll" Anyway, it opened doors for me, I had a good time and I had so many good memories from that evening!!

I once came to the local cruisning spot where I lived back then. Sarge from the French Super VW mag was there and and I came very late. SO I get to the stoplight and when it goes green I frop the clutch at 4 grand and just let it rip.....So when I park the car and jump out of it they yell at me "what are you doing.....right in front of the Police car"....It turned out that I missed the cops while quickly looking left and right and then just focused on drivning.....

So how about letting the stories out of the closets..........Hitting things, arguing with/impressing girlfriends, Police stories, street racing, journalist to impress, and maybe a DKK story can slip in too......

Taking off is  a diffrent story thou and Shawn Geers leavning Nicks is hard to beat..........I have to try to top that one Smiley

not my story but Christofe with the orange 72.

we are at the open day at PAT's and the highlight of the day was Russel pulling in with the gigantic truck full of gassers and showcars, that was wednesday just before EBI. anyway we all were there having a chat and a drink and all of a sudden we hear a loud car pulling up fast, then slowing down and squeeking rubber. again full trottle, but no car in sight. says one of the DAS guys: that must be Christofe. so everybody is outside and waiting for the car turning around the corner. needles to say for those who know him that it was indeed Christofe. parks the car like and gots out all cool, like he just dropped off his grandmother.
at that moment i knew why i liked the car in the first place  Grin
