Great video Ole,thanks for posting.Those were the days with the BIG type4 engines.(Dr J Gerold,K Hassmann &co).
I saw the Käfer Cup a few times at the end of the 90's in Zolder,but then they were running "only" 2 liter engines,but it was nice to see them racing.

Yes, those were the days! It didn't got better when the 2-liter class was established in 1996...

Dr. Gerold is back on the track after health issues, here's a pic from last year Hockenheim. I'm going to meet Rolf and Kurt Hassmann next weekend, they're still doing crazy stuff...

Woww,great Ole.If you can take more pics from these "cup-käfers",please post them,I like them a lot.
BTW,in what class(dr.Gerold) do they race now?And are the Hassmann brothers still racing or "only" building racebugs?
