I'm lucky enough to live in an area where a Cruise Night takes places every Friday, during the spring/summer. It isn't huge, but rarely attracts less than 100 cars - hot rods, customs, classics, etc.

Not too many VWs on site; but a few cool models show up once in a while. A regular attendee is a yellow 1960 Fiat powered by an 1835cc engine. I've known the car for years (ran a picture of it in Super VW a dozen years ago). Dash features a Bug-In 16 plaque. Considering the car has been built a long time ago, I imagine it did participate in this particular Bug-In.

Other pictures taken yesterday follow. I took a pic of the Double Cab as it was just leaving. Note Porsche flat six engine.

Funny you mention this... There were half a dozen of 'em at the cruise night as well. Almost as small as the Isetta often seen at the cruise night.

it isn't a fiat.

it is an autobianchi bianchina. built in desio, near milano, northern italy.

mechanical parts were more or less the same of fiat 500, but the car was designed to be something smarter than the very popular fiat.

I thought it wasn't a Fiat... But the license plate reads "60FIAT"!
