A good time with friends....

I (Sweden) spent some time with Steve Dalton (US) and Richie Webb (UK)....drinking tea (It is “awesome rad tea” if you are from OC) and enjoying the development of our beloved Volkswagen motors and cars, all at the Bug-In 2......It was so filled of fun and it all ended with drag racing getting started as sun went down. All this could have been at a parking lot in So Cal or Sweden or wherever. I sort of miss the time when you could, spontaneously go down town, cruise for a while, stop and chat with friends, enjoy good tech gossip and end at a very local race track. .......I guess age, values, politics and development has taken that away. Do the V8/Hot Rod/Bikers at your part of the world have these outing up and running, because where I live, the whether is good, but no one is out cruising anymore!!

Hi Sven,it was a good couple of hours and interesting to see the different thoughts and opinions from around he world,and the Tea was excellent

Not really much going on round here,a few ricers making to much noise but nothing worth the effort or fuel costs


Are you going to SCC for more tea and talking?

Yeah our tea party turned out cool!!

I have also looked at the ricers, that noice part is true and the last few words about worth the effort sounds good to me

SCC or not....Dechrome or not...Old school selfdestructing race motors or modern ones with longivity.... a few of the big universal questions we have to deal with...........well to give some kind of a statement: bring the tea and we'll see how it all ends

We should be able to get Dave to answer some of the questions,after all he was there    Just need to enlighten him to the tea part
