how far away are you then?

that would be really cool!!
let's keep in touch about that then, would be cool to see your 61 in real life and perhaps take some nice pics!

how long a drive is it for you?

I know very well this region. It's about 30km far from my house.
You have to go to the Brewery of La Chouffe that is few kms far from Nadrin.  Grin

Come with your convertible the weekend of 6 to 9 of June  Grin I can arrange a Walifornian trip  Grin
They make lot's of great things at the Brewery. Tartines, Ardennaise specialities....(slicing sausage etc)
In Samrée, a town 10km far from Nadrin, theyre is also a Chocolate craftsman.
In La Roche, there is a pancake restaurant and the owner is rebuilding a '66 splity van.
There is a Harley meeting with more than 1500 bikes this weekend I think.
Lot's of things to do or eat around La Roche.  Wink

it's true it does depend from station to station but engine modification is forbidden on any car in belgium even an oldtimer and in some parts off belgium thet know this all ready and the police does pull over an oldtimer (plate) when they see one

gettin ready for technical inspection..
today  i wasnt so lucky..
changed the wheels and steering wheel
i sent my wife in a short skirt to the inspection ( that allready helps  Grin )
and i was waiting and nailbiting until she came back;
with a sad face she gets out of my car and i ask her if she passed..
stupid question Smiley but then i asked her what was wrong..
turned out that my car failed due to headlight alignment  Grin easy fix Smiley
i was a bit worried with the bucket seats and the lack of a backseat, raked stance, discs, and a lot of other things
so i am damn happy i dont have to turn everything back to stock..
i m gonna cross my fingers tomorrow and hope i pass Cool
