i'm lookin for pictures of an old baja bug (i think the first appeared in 1968 on dune buggies and hot vws).

maybe based on a white oval. car was done before fiberglass kit. so nose is completely open and headlight are fixed on the suspensions tube.

side windows have a black sorround with buttons to clamp plastic window in case of rain

gates commando tyres on cragar (??) alloys with big oval holes.

chrome stinger.

this is what i can remember ( maybe not all things are sure)

i saw a picture of this car some years ago and was very impressed from its originality.

any other pic of very ol baja bug will be great. ty guys.

It was a ragtop '57 oval as I recall. Built in '67! Sorry, no pics ...

yes i  remember there having seen in my old  hotvw magazine but those this are to store in my boxes because I have just moved and not still to unpack sorry  but  i remember ian picture with the guys who drove it and they had signed on the roof the baja had ansen wheels when my books  will be unpack I shall look after that  Wink
