Tubes and o-ring between halfs , Is that good enough ? Maybe silocone halfs also . any info ?

Danny, debur the two halves where they meet and contact the tube. Round the sharp edge off so it won't cut into the tube if things move.

Yeah, and don't forget the jelly for the valve stems... so they stay lubed.

Don't they still make the boots (rubber, like the bicycle ones) that protect the tubes from the two piece wheels? I used to run those in my EMPI wheels.

I was just trying to see if Danny would try it.. Because I was sure he had some peanut butter, next to the Doritos and Twinkies he has stocked up.
