Hey Guys,

Take a look at the below, Its a Rally started by a friend, We have entered this year!

Run for the Sun with Bangers and Trash!

If you're bored of beach holidays and sick of city breaks, and want to try
a holiday with a difference whilst helping to raise massive amounts of
money for charities, why not try a banger rally? It might not be the first
idea on most people's mind when thinking about where to go next year, but
you'll meet people from all walks of life, see parts of Europe you wouldn't
otherwise get to see, and have a great time while you're at it.

Bangers and Trash, are running their inaugural rally in April 2009. Titled
'Run for the Sun' it involves a huge group of people in cars which are
otherwise destined for the scrapyard, driving in convoy through magnificent
countryside and interesting little towns. Each team is encouraged to dress
up their car and themselves, which leads to much amusement and intrigue
from the locals.

The 'Run for the Sun' event leaves Calais on the 23rd April 2009 and
arrives four days later near Malaga in Spain, so you can top up your tan
when you finish, before either driving back or disposing of the car at the
destination. In the process, Bangers and Trash hopes to raise over £20,000
for charity during 2009 with primary support going to the Acorns Children’s
hospice – www.acorns.org.uk

With a group of you filling the car, it's a great, cheap and inventive way
to fill a long weekend, make new friends and bond with those you already
know.
