I have not seen the "famous 63" with that numberplate, only with the 368 number.I have the empi licens light but i think it is slight diffrent from the one on aronson bug. But that kind of design is typical for truckers shop i have noticed.

Never cared for any aftermarket license plate light cover. That one in the picture was a common universal one that could be bought just about anywhere. They probably still make them, today.

You can get one from EMPI yes, but a much better quality one of the same design can be had from many street rod shops. Danile Hood had one on his old ragtop.

I've got one of the cheap plastic ones that came on a fibreglass eyebrow lid I bought a couple of years ago. Looks very similar to the chromes metal Lucas one that's on the back of my Dads Austin Healey. You could look at places like Europa and Moss car spares?

Apologies for thread hi-jack but just had to ask...

I heard a while back that the '63 still exists but looks much different.  With all the interest in old race/road cars is there any word of it ever being restored back to the way it was??
