Dave, you're the man! Good on ya for this thread. And I must concur... thank you, moderators, for keeping this wonderful site alive and running. It's the only VW site that matters to me. It almost feels like the same Cal Look club vibe from the old days. In short, good natured humor and a bunch of individuals all sharing one common interest.
Now, where are those car pics?

On behalf of Jon, Kalle and myself... Thank you very much for the appreciation. You guys make it worth the efford, and I must say I'm very happy about what we have here in The Lounge :-)
I'll start off with a recent picture of my car and some info.
Its a 57 Oval which features a 2221 IDA engine and a KCR transmission with Karpiola axles.
CSP disc brakes up front and Gasburners to roll with pride :-)
I'm doing the last details theese days like gauges, seats and some other small things. Just welded the seat frame last night.
I can't wait to drive it! Beautiful weather yesterday made me SO ready!
