Wasn't there personally due to other commitments, but apparently was a great weekend.

Congratulations to Colin Jardine on a win in VWPro, blistering pace at 11.7...

Also congratulations to John Walklett for running a new PB of 12.3 and taking the show & go (UK DRKC type deal) win.

Great result for Colin running 11.6 best of for the weekend almost getting to his personal best of 11.59.  Smiley

Johns time of 12.3 is superb on treads, he had a problem with his motor. By the time we had got home he had the engine stripped and found a broken lifter.

Also of note was the N/A split van running into the 12s

We had a ball.

I spoke to him this am and he's had a set of Udo's lifters knocking around for a bit - now he's got a reason to use them! I here some detail changes are also underway to try to get into the 11's at the DD1 and after the years and years of the cars drivetrain development going from a 14 second (hot!) street car to a really quick car I think it will be a champagne moment for him!

how did you get on FFire?

I just tagged along with Coiin. Getting ready for my road trip to DD1.

I'm also having a type 2 box built for Betelgeuse so hopefully will have it out for Bug Jam

Thanks guys, had a great weekend with good weather.  Peter looked bemused as i progressed through the rounds for a change, preventing an early journey home Grin
