Thats Quite an old pic not only have the ribbed bumpers gone since then but so have the 61 ish rear lights , porker seats and the deep six's from the front  Roll Eyes
The roofs been bolted down now too . As for the trim all in good time , Im more concerned with getting the box in and bolted up  Wink

Well it really Depends If You Want To Call it A Cal Look Or a Resto Cal like most cars are today,  On a Real Cal Look Chrome trim and Bumpers belong in the Catagorey With Roof Racks,Extra Narrowed Beams Mud Flaps and all the other Bolt on Crap, A Real Cal Look is all Business without all The Bling Bling and Plenty of Horsepower to Back Up its Plain Clean Look   (Shubee is Now Ducking all the Rocks Being Thrown at him LOL)  Just My 2 Cents cuz I spent the Rest

That car looks great... I agree with Russell. But it would also look good if only the bumpers were swapped for t-bars and/or the trim was removed. Any way... it'll look nice. The beautiful aspect of our Cal Look cars is that are no rules. The only rule that needs to be remembered is that it's YOUR car. Do as you wish. Personally, I like Glenn's car as it sits in the picture.

Carry on.

Ooh, difficult! With how different the grooved trim on a split is, it's cool to have it. On the other hand, I prefer cars without trim (I've already sold the trim from my split) and it does fit into the cal look theme better.

But, big question - would YOU have the balls to weld up the holes on a completed, painted running car? Wink
