We have the DVB club website up and running my wife Judy has been working on this site for some time now and she has done a great job so please let us know. We would like to have the charter members check in. As a charter member you will receive a pair of window stickers and if you want the T shirts they will be available in a few weeks the price will be $15.00 + shipping we would also like for you as a charter member ( Pre 1984 ) to submit a picture of yourself next to the car so that it can be put on the website. Susy Herbert, Candy Larson,Mark Tremblay,Art Zefell,Shubee and many others.

   Thanks

Cool site Frenchy.  Cool  FYI if you click on 'about the club' I couldn't see the image thats on that page, just a little red cross.

Man those byelaws are strict!  Shocked  Wink

I noticed that primer & patina was OK, is this the same as the old DVB or is this new to reflect current trends in the scene?

My wife Judy did the whole website and my son also did help in certain areas. We have a good group of people that get along with other more important than making sure the car is perfect. That part of it
will come in time.

    Thanks

Frenchy,
Can you put in a link to the website please, I can't seem to get a hit with Google search at www.dvbclub.org.
I was brought into DVB and sponsered by Shubee during '76 or '77 (before we broke off and started DSK!). You should remember my '61 sunroof, you have a picture of it in your website under "Bug-In" pics. It's the only car with primer!
Thanks, Bruce

Yes, this was in transition read Daily Driver mode. Your pic is the only one I currently have to show. I have some but my scanners on the Fritz. Thanks for including me in your history!
I've also viewed the DVB site and am looking forward to joining and perhaps visiting in the future. Hope to see you in SoCal soon too!

Hi everyone,
Thanks for all your responses. Here is the link just in case you aren't able to use the one above: http://www.dvbclub.org/ We currently have 13 members and feel that we have a good start. The big news is that our club has been asked to be the host club for Karl's Custom car show. This is a local show and is very well attended. It will be fun for the members and we are planning on putting on a nice display. Hopefully, we will generate a lot of interest in our club as a result of Karl's show.
Someone mentioned about the bylaws being strict. Keep in mind, that these are based off the original bylaws with some things added to reflect today's climate. For instance, we want prospective members to know that saying hurtful things against another member on the internet will not be tolerated. Years ago, this was not a concern but it happens frequently in this day and age. Also, nothing is written in stone. If a member questions something on there, we can open it for discussion.
We have had window stickers made and at the next meeting we will discuss having a banner made. We are also be going to be putting a t-shirt order in soon. If you are an original member and would like your information on the website please contact us at dvbvwa@gmail.com. You can send a photo and we will post it on the charter member page. Frenchy looks awfully lonely on there all by himself.

Hey Frenchy,

Thanks for sending the link, I logged on tonight and enjoy the site.  We're looking forward to the next meeting and cruise to the Pavillions.
