With the exception of the few whom I have known personally for years, who are you guys?
I don't know if I'm communicating with an old salty sea dog or some pimple faced wanker.
A little more info would help.. we're people here!  Not just avatars and car pic's.
I can understand if you have something to hide, like that pederasty conviction. Otherwise
a name, where you live...general stuff--nothing specific, I'm listening/talking to you, not
your car,ET,Bore x stroke or personal credo/motto/quotation. Lets just pretend we're in
the pits, talking like guys talking to guys. A fair amount of B S mixed with an equal amount of truth.
Your opinion is welcome.  Smiley

Yes, this question has been asked on ALL the forums (no dis-respect or flame meant, seriously). It was years ago that a friend of mine on another forum suggested using real names instead of strange, internet, camoflouge names. I still think that is a good thing. You're right, we really don't know who a large portion of the folks here are.....Sometimes we think we know them and then find out otherwise.

Thanks guys, I can see we have some real quality people on this site. Without some basic information
its so easy to make a wrong assumption about people or their cars, etc. I hate being re dundent or
sound like I'm talking down to people, so if anyone has been offended...my apologies.  Smiley

P S, If anyone needs to know most anything about me, send me a PM and I'll bore you to tears.

Mark, 47 years of age and proud dad to two great sons (Noah/16 & Jacob/18 yrs.). Happily divorced since '96. One girlfriend since 2002. Got rid of the rest of 'em. First car is the orange '66 in my signature below this post. Bought it in '79. Had a few air and water cooled VWs, a Porsche, some rear wheel drive (only) Volvos, and that blue '67 is my current Cal Looker that I bought 1½ years ago.

Here's a recent shot at my friend's birthday party in his backyard. Great bands, great food, good times!

Worked at Volkswagen, Porsche+Audi dealers and parts shops as mechanic, parts dept., and service adviser. Been skateboarding since '72 and surfing since '74. Fishing since I was a toddler, restoring vintage Schwinns and detailing cars since childhood. Taking pictures since I was eight. Was in Der Kleiner Kampfwagens from '79-'85. Thanks to The Lounge, most of that car club is all back together again.
