June 13th is a safe bet. With all the pre-Classic events beggining on the 10th. And the Pomona Swap Meet the Sunday before June 06th. Hope this helps.

then the following weekend is Pomona swap meet, then the weeks classic activities, inc thursday night at irwindale and friday night DKP cruise night at nicks, the sat OCTO,sunday classic

I would give my left nut to go for two weeks but being a family man I cant really justify 2 weeks in California own my own. Don't think the wife would be to impressed
but could try and spread the trip out to 8 or 9 days to take in the week ned before
Does sound like I'll be missing out though
Still it looks like it'll be second week end in june but I 'll think i'll wait for the date to be firm before booking.
Ps thank to Rick and Dave for the posts

Irvine, Lake Forest and Laguna Hills are the closest cities to the venue for the Classic. There's a ton of hotels around here. You should not have an issue finding a room.
I'm in Lake Forest maybe 5 miles from the venue. If I can help let me know.

Will my car be done if I bring it up on Memorial Day?
I'll come and pick it and you up and drive back. Of course you're on you own for the return trip!

Rick thank you for the offer .
I've found a cheap place in Fullerton just need to convince my mate to go to share the cost.
I found it interesting that servicemen and government officials get a reduced room rate
