Wow... that brings back memories! I haven't seen that car in almost 25 years. Jack & Bobbie were good folk.

There are a lot of stories buried in these cars which I guess will never fully be known but at least the cars are still about.  Smiley

Hi Mitch,

I only had a couple of pictures from when the car was at its first stop in Europe but they're not really very good, the one I bunged up was a crop of one of the photos. I should imagine that Russ, its new keeper will have it up at his place pretty soon and will be able to get some decent pics then. I can however say the car is in good shape and is moving into a pretty cool new gaff.  Cool

Cheers, Mat.

I spent many nights dreaming of getting hold of that car, Although it may have had a previous life, the paint scheme now is well cool, so I dont know if I could take it back and redo it. Its the gasser equivalent of rubbing back an original carravagio to see if there is a leonardo lurking underneath it.

Suppose that when I get an old gasser I can decide what will happen to it!

I remember going to Howard shop in 1972 when his shop was on the corner of Lakewood Blvd and Alondra in Bellflower Calif and took a lot of pictures of the Mouse Trap and also pictures of the Lizard another race car that he had. A few years ago Chris Morely was looking for pictures of the Mouse Trap because he wanted to restore this car and he had no pictures to go by for the restoration so I loaned him the pictures I had for the restoration.

    Thanks
