Sorry for the dual post, but need quick information!

What is the absolute minumum piston to head clearance you've successfully run?
I usually look for .040" as minimum, but considering the possibility of less for a limited time.

82 X 94, carrillo rods, compression in the 10.5-11:1 range; looking for 7K max rpm.

A call out to the experienced builders ...

I stick to .040/.045,I have seen marks from pistons at .035,it really depends on the quality of the crank?and how much it flexs
