The car was painted and half rebuildt in 1996, and was then sat in a garage. Here it stod lonely to I got it in 2008. From then I have done verry much to it, like changin the outside Look, put an interior in it, and rebuild the engine. And this is just some of the things I have done. Grin
More pics are coming.........

Interior:
When I changed the interior I started with making my own door panels in aluminum. Then i desided to buy som new seats, so I then bought some black Cobra Classic seats.
I have also done som more little things like changing the shifter and stuff like that.

The reason that I made new door panels is because the black door panels was painted black, and didn't have a nice finish. And I also think it's kind a race thing, but I wanted to see how it's was going to look, and it didn't look bad at all, so at the time they are stil going to be there Grin

When the 2.165ccm engine went to be to expensive at the time to build, I got my hands on some parts to build a 1.835ccm engine instead. So hear it goes.
The parts I have got my hands on is cylinders, pistons, 40/44 Weber IDF and tops. all of these parts is going in to a modified stock 1600ccm engine case.
I'm all open for tips and tricks when this is my first try to build a engine.  Grin

At the time I am collecting more parts for my 1835, and I wondered how much horsepower I maybe can get out of it.
Do some have any ideas how much power it could get?
The specs is:
Type: Type1
Displacement: 1835 cc
Case: AS41 original vw
Crank: original
Rods: original and of equal weight
Cam: Scat C35 Same as Engle W110
Rockers: 1:1.1 original
Heads: originale (modified and ported)
Inlet valves: 40 mm
exhaust valves: 35,5 mm
Oilpump: 26mm Full flow
Oil cooling: original
Carburetors: 40 mm Weber's with CB upgrade kit
Ignition: 009 Bosch distributor + Blue Bosch coil

Come with tips and tricks if it is something I should do different. It's my first enginebuild. Smiley
