Last week this Karmann re-appear in a meeting, it was built in the early 90s (or late 80s ?), maybe one of the first cal-look Karmann in France.

Maybe Fabs you have more pics or an article in Super VW Mag ? I will check mine but they are not old enough I think.

My pics, it seems it's still in the same shape as it was 20 years before.

Looks to be a nicely built car, but I think I'd put chrome bumpers, light trims and handles on it. Other than that, it seems to have aged very well! Smiley

Could this be the old Jeff "Eggs" Benedict Ghia that once was on the cover of Hot VWs, shot on the Balboa Ferry about 1978-79? If so, it was once the World's Most Beautiful VW"....

the car was repaint in grey in late nineteens

that's it,  i found it,  it was in super vw n°18(dec90/jan91) , the car still the same only the 5 spokes were swap for a set of fuchs , there's another french kg in pame green in the same year with fuchs featured in the 20/21 may be
the car  still have the same plate  Shocked

Thanks for the article Fabs ! I did'nt find it in my mags, the oldest I have is number 25. It's nice to see that nothing have change on this car, maybe the owner is the same !
