As the title says guys - Does anyone have any info/spec/tolerances/etc for the ZF Limited Slip Differential (8bolt type) Huh

There are 4 or 5 different versions.  What is the ZF 10 digit part number engraved on the outside? (starts with 4061 00x xxx)

There are 2 different types of discs.  Each are quite different technology.

Bolts get torqued to 22ftlbs.  Most attempts at removing the bolts with inferior tools results in ruined bolts.  If you haven't tried yet, I can show you what works.

The #1 most common cause of a swing axle ZF's failure is the dummy that assembled it wrong.

Thnak for the info dude, All I know about the diff is that it has 8 bolts holding the crown wheel

I will find out the part Number and let you know,

Are there any "problems" to look out for??? What about replacement parts???

Problems are the dummy that put it together wrong last time it was apart.

Replacement parts come from other diffs that were put together wrong.
