Hi,

do the steering wheel from a Porsche 914(380mm) fit straight to a PRE-64 beetle column?
I have seen some installed on beetle but not sure if they were 912/Empi(420 & 400mm) or 914?
BTW Is there a difference between those tow types of steering wheel regarding hub?
Thank you.

912/Empi 500/914 all have different hub..

You can fit an Empi without mod. 912 has a flat hub, way too small for a bug. Your hands will hit the turnsignal lever.

914 doesn't fit either. To fit one to my 68 I've had a custom boss fabricated...

Hope this helps Wink
