question on Stock heads and stainless steel valves
«

was wondering.. on factory stock cylinder heads (bare , with guides and seats)
are the aftermarket stainless steel valves, interchangeable ? (intake stem thickness and exhaust stem thickness)
asking because in my "how to rebuild" book..
it states for 61-74 heads stem diameter are as follows :
intake - 0.3126" to 0.3130"
exh - 0.3114" to 0.3118"
not sure if the diff of 7.94-95mm intakes
and 7.91-92mm exhaust
stem dia. would be big enough? to not be able to interchange exhaust stainless valves into intake or vice versa..
thank you guys
