And It Still Has the Same Plate!!! 67 CONV  Prices have sure Changed over the Years I had this Car 25 years ago and sold it to a friend for $6,500.00 he ran it threw an auction 6 months later sold it for $7,000.00 to a Guy in San Diego who bought it for his Wife she drove it for two weeks and told her Husband she did not like Driving A Stick so it Sold for $8,000.00 to A Kid In Escondido he worked for a body shop and did a complete redo of the car changing it back to Yukon Yellow but added a Brown Canvas Top And A Red Interior??? it was for sale at the 2005 VW Classic and on Samba for $20,000.00 he ended up Selling it for $18,000.00 To it's Current Owner who live's in Huntington Beach after he Bought it he Changed the Top to Black Canvas and the Interior back to black installed a Big Motor with IDA's and Slammed it to the Ground It's now For Sale for $27,000.00 Boy have things Changed LOL here are a few pictures of how it was and is Now... http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=871564 |

Can you build a car like that (pan off resto + paint + new cabriolet top + big engine + Fuchs) for 27K$?
(IMHO, It looks better than ever, the top looks a lot better than the cheap ass vinyl one it had in old photos. Red interior was a miss but liked the brown top it had in the SuperVW feature.)

In the early pictures I had 14's on it with a 185 in the rear and 155 in front When I had That Car it had just about every wheel made on it at one time or another BRM's,Empi 5 Spokes,Alloys as Follows 15X7 all around,deep 6's and 5 1/2's,late 6's and 7's |

I will NEVER understand why people dump the rear of their cars. Not only does look LAME!!!!! It rides like SHIT and tears up the rear bearings. Because god knows there is nothing cooler than being broke down on the side of the road. Raise it back up, number one priority.

I've always wanted to see that car in Yukon Yellow. Hopefully, it'll be returned back to a Cal Look stance with a normal width front beam.I will NEVER understand why people dump the rear of their cars. Not only does look LAME!!!!! Some people dump the rear of their cars, some drive them with 200bhp on the back and 135 tires on the front... Because god knows there is nothing cooler than being folded around a tree because the road was wet...  |
