Yep, these two guys drove it all the way from Florida and ended up at the VW Classic.  They told me of a thunder shower in Texas that was totally brutal to drive through.  These guys were tough.

Truth is,
I actually like the Boatswagen... but I'm a cheap date.
Back in the 80's there was one very similar that used to run around Seal Beach, CA.
The driver would always wear his "Capitan's" hat.
