Saw this car on the Wayne Carini show, it was raced by Bill Rutan in the old days. It held the Mt. Washington Hill Climb record for like 30 years or so. It's Powered by Porsche quad cam engine!!

Not the worst but still fugly.

hehe, its my car, the front axle is too narrow, but its looking better now with fuchs wannabes, or what do you think. i dont think that it belongs to this topic, but you are the judge ;-)

Jyri / http://volkswanker.blogspot.com

BUT here´s an uglier version of a ghia cab, the headlights were modified in TEXAS, by some brainless blind guy, with more bondo in his hands than welding skills, its so ugly that I'm starting to really like it, and maybe one day it will be a flat painted-curvy-road-racer... who knows...

I actually quite like the truck! Looks very well built, check the swage lines at the back of the door. My only change would be the back wheels - i prefer a taller tyre and shorter wheel.

The truck is actually very cool.
The builder is local to me and he let me oogle it closely.
He does not have master plans with the cars he builds, they start as ideas in his head.
Then he goes out and makes them happen.

Here are some photos I took of it
back in 2010 at the Woodburn Bug Run...

Here I am sitting in it.
I am 6'2" and 270lbs and it was a very comfortable fit for me.

Here is my favorite photo of it...
