17" Fuchs...

Those look hideous, how the hell they can get them look so wrong (nothing wrong with 17" Fuchs itself as there are some good looking ones too) but so sharp edges of spokes etc. Just like something was lost in translation with the Chinese company making them and who ever subcontracted them. Mustang tail-lights are icing on the cake on that thing Cheesy

HAHA!! All of that effort and the owner puts THOSE wheels on? At least fake a car properly and use something that resembles a Porsche wheel.

FAIL.

I dunno... I think the Camaro wheels set it off nicely and are right in line with the theme of that ride... Betcha the owner is sporting a mullet too!

Dang, Harold... that modular dash could be the new Cal Look benchmark. We'll have to consult the rule book, first.

At a risk of going of topic...

Creative Car Craft had arranged to be covered by a local news stations morning show. They had a few cars lined up but they contacted DKK through Dyno Don to bring out a few cars to fill the parking lot. The Cal-Look cars wound up stealing the show.  Wink

They had several shots of cars accelerating away. For all of these shots, they used the sound clip of Steve Wilkerson's car.

Ok, it's a Porsche not a VW, but WTF? Shocked Found on MSN on the "10 cars that were launched too soon" article...

"US Porsche dealer William Dick's car underwent a 21" stretch to accommodate a pair of suicide doors at the rear. With a luxurious new leather and walnut interior the result was OK looking, although back then the very idea of a four-door Porsche was simply to weird to contemplate."

Not too weird...just real different in the flesh. Almost 40 years ago I was more impressed by the stretch, than by the concept of a 4 door 911.
Unfortunately, I only recall seeing the car with the brown (sepia?) color.

Why is it that the '73 and later Type 1 bodies look great with no vents on the decklid and the '72 and earlier cars look great with the convertible (2 vents only) decklids?

 Huh

Carry on.
