Ghia hurts also!
I generally can't stand any VW with a V8 transplant, but I'll be brutally honest here... I think the Ghia actually looks decent. To me, a Ghia nor a Type 3 seem to be naturals for such a conversion, though I won't condone it by any means. A Squareback with a V8 in the front would be kind of like a baby Nomad... okay, putting my Nomex suit on now! Again, can't stress enough that I usually don't like V8 conversions in VWs... but I kind of dig the Ghia.

What is wrong with this one? It has a mid mounted SBC and was built for under $2000. It was featured in Grassroots Motorsports. I think it's hideously ugly, but I'm also not really much of a Bus guy. Really! LOOK AT IT...................EVERYTHING IS WRONG WITH IT Shhheeeessshhh! And don't bring up anything about taste, because if you do , you don;'t have any. As a matter of facts the idiot should have saved the 2000.00 and scapped it for a few bucks, saved their time and drank a lot more beer Didn't he recently try to sell that POS for like $30K ?

He has (or had) a split screen bus made in DDR out of wood on a Kubelwagen chassis. Maybe he thinks that this "Porsche" would fit next to this bus?

All that effort, for what? If he'd just dropped a Manx body over the chassis…

Sadly, yes. It's the same concept as watching an insect suffer the magnifying glass at the hand of some sick and twisted child. Just kill the poor thing, already Or at least give it some dignity by making it Cal Look, stock, or a Baja. Hard to believe those things took over the car show area. I'd rather walk than be seen in one of those.
