Hey Jim,
Dumb question, but when you dial in that cam using that cam card do you use a .004 valve lash as referenced on the top of the card?
Thanks

I actually do not use the card, or lash when I dial cams in. I just set lobe center vs crank degrees ATDC...very simple.

Having driven a couple of cars with these cams in, I think they're great. Can't wait to get the motor rebuilt and back on the strip for testing early next year

I agree. The 125 is probably the "best" all around street cam, works well in so many displacements, and states of tune. Always seems to "work". Can't think of one motor that was setup with 125 that I didn't like.

Can you believe it was 14 years ago, you talked me into putting a W125 in my stock valved 44 IDF'd daily commuter 1776? I'm seriously contemplating tearing apart my 2165 to replace the FK-45 with a W125. At the same time, the rods are going from 5.500 to 5.352 and compression from 9.39 to 9.65.

you know, there was one motor that ran like a limpy dog, with that cam. It was Aaron's Ghia. His 1904. I think part of it was not enough CR, and part of it was not enough carbs, and a lot of it was that way too tall gearstack he had. That car "should have" been second and a half faster @ Sears, with my 48's on it.
Tim S ran a 1914 with Web 109 (very similar to 125) in some junkyardy '67 I drove. Wasn't bad, just not very crisp and not "oh my god (versgrove) fast" Sheep's K8 motor was much more visceral.
There was a kid @ Sac the first time I raced my '67, in 1990, this kid had a bright green car with pink doo dad's and pink fan housing, etc. Not really what we see today as "cool", but anyway, my 2054, 125 Engle, 40 x 35, 44IDF motor wasn't doing any better than 15.02's, this kid had a Rick Eichler (beany guy) motor, 1904, 125 Engle with 1.25's, 48DRLA's, mag and he was going 12.70's. My bottom lip was like a bumper it stuck out so far.

Pretty sure my card looks the same as those posted here. I've had three different cars with 125's over the years and still feel it's a great performer for a two liter.

It'd be cool to get all our camcards together and provide a cam registry or library for those of us that simply need to overcomplicate our lives even further with too many choices ... especially when it comes to cam choice for any motor.

I have most of Engle W and FK series cam cards.
