is this the same motor featured in a small picture in the Bill Fisher book @ end of carb chapter...featuring Hilborn injection ? Cool picture and curious about that motor.

i know of a bookshop in hasselt who has it. i got mine there. it's roadrunner. mail me i can look up the telephonenumber. indeed a good book and some pictures you don't see anywhere else...

My friend Rob with the Bronze Manx has one of those hoods - they are pretty cool BUT pretty useless - whats the point of a "scoop" on the front  Huh Smiley

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But if you look at later N/A race cars some of them have something similar but at the top of the windscreen to force air back to the carb airbox,the first car I remember with a hood scoop was the Ron lummus notch,cheers richie,uk

They were originally made in the UK during the seventies.
